On Saturday afternoon Ohio State came in to Madison and faced Wisconsin. The Badgers started slow again, but picked it up after Blackwell hit a three and then stolethe ball and made a layup. Wisconsin took the lead and never looked back after the middle of the first half. Austin Rapp got hot and hit five three point shots to grow the lead. The Badgers led at halftime 49-43.
In the second half they came out and kept the lead. The B and B connection were the driving force. John Blackwell ended with 22 points and a perfect 5-5 from the line. Nick Boyd had 21 points and was a perfect 8-8 from the line. Wisconsin needs to shoot free throws like this every game because Boyd and Blackwell get there a lot in each game. Austin Rapp defense was really good in the second half. The Badgers need to rebound better in the upcoming games. Overall, Wisconsin played a complete game.
