If you saw the Milwaukee vs Miami Baseball game yesterday, you know why I titled this post “Questionable Umpiring”. In the second inning the first base umpire made a terrible call, when he called the Marlin’s player safe at first when it obviously was an out. A blind person would have called him out, that is how bad the call was, the call cost the Brewers a second run in the inning and made our pitcher throw more pitches. We did come back and tied up the game but I think it would have been a different game if our home run put us up by one run instead of it being a tying home run. We still loss the game by multiple runs. In baseball, momentum can play a part in the game. I don’t know if we would’ve won the game but when you have idiotic calls by terrible umpires it hurts a team’s chances. Everybody that knows me, knows I believe players should determine the game’s outcome not moron umpires or referees who suck at their job. Here is an idea so teams don’t get screwed by bad calls against them in a baseball game, make umpires get re-certified every two or three years.
