THE BREWERS WERE ON FIRE LAST NIGHT FROM THE GAS

Robert Gasser(gas) threw his first of many major league starts. Robert struck-out the last seventeen batters he face. Gasser attacked hitters like a veteran. It also helped that he got a lot of run support and most came with two outs. This was the Brewers fifth straight victory over the St Louis Cardinals. This game was the fourteenth game where the Brewers put up seven or more runs in a game. The Dodgers have only scored seven or more runs twelve times. All of the runs came from the top five of the order for the Brewers.

Christian Yelich looked like his old self last night he was running fast and hitting well. If he can have a good year and stay healthy the Brewers should have a good year. Last night’s game showed how well the Brewers farm system has been over the last few years. Over the last two seasons look how many players have been called up and succeed. Sal Frelick, Bryce Turang, Garrett Mitchell all came up last year. This year we have seen a few new faces coming up to the majors like Robert Gasser. The Brewers have two more games against the Cardinals, hopefully they sweep them for the second time this year.
