Milwaukee has only played one series against the Cubs and already two Cubs were suspended. Keegan Thompson and manager David Ross have both been suspended. Keegan beamed Andrew McCutchen in the second game of the season. Both dugouts emptied out after McCutchen was hit. Jason Heyward came running towards Andrew McCutchen. Both men had to be restrained. It seems like every season there is a Brewers vs. Cubs fight. Many Cub fans hate the Brewers and Brewers fans hate the Cubs, that is why all those games are so intense. I can only imagine how the rest of the season is going to go. They meet up another sixteen times this year.
Chicago leads the series this year 2-1, so the Brewers need to get their stuff together or this series is going to be ugly. One of the reasons I think it got chippy was because the Brewers went 15-4 against them last season. Let’s hope that these teams can calm their emotions down and just play the game we love.
