It has been three months since the story broke about Aaron Rodgers wanting out of Green Bay. Since Adam Schefter reported it, we have had the draft, OTA, and Mini camp. We have only heard from Rodgers once, so what is going on in Green Bay? The Packers have come out three or four times saying they are not going to trade him. Reporters and others alike have said they are impressed with Jordan Love’s improvement. Aaron has not been at OTA’s or mini camp so Love was getting all first team reps. In an interview with Davonte Adams after a mini camp practice he said, “He was impressed with Love’s command of the huddle”. It sounds like Love is improving which is great news for us Packer fans to hear. One thing nobody knows is how Jordan Love will perform in a game.
We do know what to expect with Rodgers under center in a game. It’s not a big deal that Aaron missed OTA’s and mini camp because he knows the offense inside and out but it still would have been nice to see. Now to get back to “Has Rodgers left the neighborhood?”. We really don’t know, I hope not, and I still think he might play next season. If Aaron has left the neighborhood and Jordan Love has moved in, I pray he will be successful as the head of it.
