Packers say Goodbye to Josh Jackson

The Packers traded Josh Jackson for Isaac Yiadom. Josh Jackson was drafted in the 2nd round in the 2018 draft. Jackson played in 42 games and started 20 games . Isaac Yiadom was also drafted in 2018, but he has played in 45 games and started 19 games. Josh had a great senior year in college at Iowa, which made him a 1st round grade. He was linked to the Packers before draft night. On draft night, which was Gutekunst’s first draft as the general manager, he traded up and drafted Jiare Alexander, his first pick. Then some how, in the second round, Josh Jackson was sitting there for him to draft and he did. Jiare Alexander has been a top ten cornerback and Josh so far has been a bust.

Green Bay has taken multiple defensive backs, in the last two drafts, to make up for the lack of Jackson’s production. This trade, the Packers made, is a good trade since Jackson is Gutekunst worst draft pick. The NFL is a passing league and if a player is not playing well, then you replace him. Nobody knows what Isaac is going to do for the Packers, but can’t be any worse.
