Brewers VS Reds

Starting tonight, the Brewers take on the Reds for three games at American Family Field. Milwaukee has a 7 1/2 game lead over the Reds, so by the end of the series Brewers could have a double digit lead. They could also only have a four game lead. Milwaukee has been the best team in baseball since the all-star break. The Reds haven’t been too shabby either, so it will be a good series. Christian Yelich has been hitting better in the last few games which is a good sign. The team is doing well and the pitching staff is getting healthier. These are all good signs they should keep winning. The Reds are our only true competition in the Central division. The Brewers have Burnes, Woodruff, and Anderson pitching in this series, so we should take a least 2 out of 3 games.

If the Brewers sweep the Reds, it’s going to be hard for them to catch Milwaukee, if we keep winning. The Brewers, with how they are playing, should beat the Reds and win the division. I know there is time left and we could lose our lead and become a wild card. It’s very hard to imagine though, if we have a double digit lead, we will lose it. After this series, we should have a good understanding of where the Brewers will finish this season.
