Are The Brewers The Best Team in The Majors?

The Brewers have won the first three games against the Giants this week. They have one more to go. Milwaukee’s pitching has looked great in this series. I have been impressed with the Brewers hitting. Christian Yelich has a 11 game hitting streak going, which is a great sight to see. Corbin Burnes is back into the Cy Young Award talks, since August. Cousins has pitched out of difficult situations in the last two games. If you look at the rest of the N.L. contenders, we match up well.

The Cardinals are starting to make a move, but Milwaukee has three upcoming series with St. Louis in the next month. I have said in the past that St. Louis is the Yankees of the National League. They always play us very tough. The only time we made the World Series, we lost to them, and in the 2011 NLCS we lost to them too. Now let’s get back to the rest of the Major League. Los Angeles and San Fransisco both are good teams, but we are better. The only team I see that could be a problem is Tampa Bay, only because of their very talented hitters.

My final thought is, if the Brewers get out of the National League, and make the world series, Milwaukee will win the World Series against Tampa in seven. I think our pitching can control their hitters and we have found our offense.
