Week 12 Review

Green Bay played the Rams on Sunday and beat them by eleven. The Packers stoped the Rams on their first drive and Green Bay got the ball deep in their own territory. They moved the ball, but stalled on their first drive. The Packers have only scored twice on their first drive, so far this season. Last season Green Bay scored on six first drives in the first twelve weeks. One of the top storylines was Aaron Jones started after missing the last two weeks. He ran ok, but Dillon handled most of the work. Aaron Rodgers threw for over three hundred yard with two passing touchdowns and one rushing.

The defense looked good most of the game. Raul Douglas got an interception and ran it back for a TD. Green Bay got multiple sacks in the game, including one from Rashan Gary. His sack was a big sack at the beginning of the game. Matthew Stafford played a good game, but was pressured a lot. Our Defensive Coordinator came from the Rams. He knows the offense, which probably helped.

Overall, the game was a clean game. We controlled the time of possession by a big margin. Aaron Rodgers looked good while playing with a fractured toe. The run game also was successful, which is great to see this late in the season. It has been reported that Bakhtiari might be back, after the bye next week. If he comes back, that would be a huge lift for the line. Green Bay’s defense had another nice game too. Next week is our bye so we should be able to give our hurt players some rest.

Go Pack Go!!
