Now that week fourteen is over, Green Bay is the number 1 seed in NFC. The Packers are 10-3 with four more games to go before the playoffs. We have the Ravens, Browns, Vikings, and the Lions left. All of those games are very winnable, which means we will hold on to the number 1 seed. The reason why getting the number 1 seed is so important is because you are the only team to get a bye in the playoffs. There are not many teams in the NFC that are built to be successful in snow. Los Angeles’ offense is not built to play in the cold or snow. Arizona is really not equipped to play in Wisconsin winter weather. Tampa Bay could beat us, because they have Tom Brady, that is why home field is important for us too.
Green Bay is one of the clear favorites to go to the Super Bowl. NFL analysts say that Rodgers is having another MVP worthy season. The defense is a top ten defense. When you put a MVP quarterback with a top ten defense you have a great shot. The odds of you winning the Super Bowl increases if you have the number 1 seed. There were a lot of football people saying this offseason, “Forget the Packers they have too much drama to be competitive”. Now those same people are projecting the Packers to play in the Super Bowl. This season shows, if you have a talented team you can compete for a Super Bowl.
The Packers have overcome injuries to key people and still are the number one seed. If Green Bay keeps the one seed, which they should, Green Bay will surely be Super Bowl favorites.
Go Pack Go!!
