Badgers Won The Las Vegas Bowl

On December 30th, Wisconsin took on Arizona State in the Las Vegas Bowl. The Badgers won the game 20-13. They looked good in the first half, but the third quarter they looked pitiful. Wisconsin had -9 yards in the quarter. Chryst was trying to be fancy and got away from giving the ball to Braelon Allen. Mertz made some nice passes and threw one touchdown to Ferguson. He also threw one interception that he should have never thrown. The defense played well again, but the person who was most impressive was Braelon Allen. He had 100 yards in the first half. It felt like we were going to win big.

Then the second half started and it all changed. We couldn’t move the ball at all in the third quarter. When the fourth quarter started, we got back to running the ball witch let us control the clock. Our last drive lasted 9:56 to close out the game. The seniors played well which was nice to see. They have done a lot for the program, so they deserved to go out as champions. Overall, I was happy with Wisconsin’s play on the field. I think they should be pretty good next year from what we have coming back.

Wisconsin has gotten two transfer portal players for next year. One is a kicker from Arkansas and a defensive back from Toledo. They both should be a big help next year. Let’s all hope Wisconsin can get back to form next year and win the West.

On Wisconsin!!
