MR RODGERS IS STAYING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Aaron Rodgers agreed to returning to the Packers today. It’s important that Rodgers made his decision, since March 8th is when teams can franchise tag players. If a player is not franchise tagged, they will become a free agent next week. Now that Aaron is staying in Green Bay they can work on putting a team around him. We are going to hear a lot of restructuring deals to free up cap room. Adams will cost them twenty million dollars against the cap, if the Packers tag him. Green Bay can lower that number by reaching an extension with Adams.

This signing means that we will have a Pro Bowl quarterback for the next four years. What does Green Bay do with Jordan Love? His rookie contract will be finished in the next two years. Do the Packers trade him this offseason or next season? There are mixed thoughts on the timing. If they trade him this offseason, Green Bay is probably getting a third round draft pick, but if they wait a year maybe they can get a second round pick. Either way, it looks like Jordan Love is gone.

We are now not going to hear about Rodgers going to Denver. Jay Glazer and others now can shut their huge mouthes. Packer fans are so tired about hearing Rodgers is leaving. I wonder now who they are going to focus on, since Rodgers is back with Green Bay.

My final thought is now with Rodgers locked up, we better win a Super Bowl. Vegas has updated the odds from 15 to 1 with 12 to 1 odds. Jordan Love might be a good quarterback in the future, but not in Green Bay.
