GREEN BAY PACKERS ROOKIE MINI CAMP

The Green Bay Packers had their rookie mini camp last weekend. All rookies looked impressive, but especially the wide receivers. Quay Walker and Devonte Wyatt also look very sharp. Green Bay’s draft class this year is a very important class. The Packers had quite a few holes to fill and they did that in this draft. Christian Watson looked very smooth in most of his movements, which is a good sign. They also brought in some tryout players and signed Kobe Jones from those players.

Our defense has been called elite, since the draft ended, by some NFL analysts. Kingsley Enagbare who we drafted in the fifth round, also looked very impressive to the coaches. This years mini camp was a little different, because they worked a lot on special teams. Romeo Doubs has been compared to Greg Jennings. It is very early to make those comparisons. If he does become like Greg, we really hit on the pick. Christian Watson has been compared to Jordy Nelson too, but it has been only three days.

Overall, people are impressed with the Packers mini camp, which is great to hear, since we need these players to contribute.
