Now that the Packers are done with the draft, they have multiple new receivers. Green Bay drafted Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Samori Toure. All of them bring multiple talents, which could help us this year. Each player can play special teams and any receiver position. Christian played mostly outside, but did play slot. Doubs and Toure also have that type of depth too. Green Bay still have Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, and Amari Rodgers on the team.
NFL analyst have said that Green Bay’s receivers are unproven and not as good without MVS and Adams. I agree that they have some unproven players, but who knows if they can’t be better than those two wide receivers. Watson is faster than MVS and has better hands from the tape in college. Doubs can be a deep threat, but has shown he has a good roundtree in college.
Overall, the Packers drafted players that can’t replace Adams production individually . They can replace his production as a trio. Toure is predicted to be a key special teams gunner, but can be a serviceable receiver. There is no reason right now to get down about the receiver position let’s see what they do this fall, before we judge them.
