WISCONSIN’S FIRST WIN UNDER FICKELL IN CAMP RANDALL

On Saturday Wisconsin took on Buffalo in the hottest game ever in school history. Wisconsin started off slowly on Saturday. The score at halftime was 14-10. Tanner Mordecai threw two interceptions in the game. His first interception came after Skylar Bell dropped an easy touchdown. He threw the ball behind the wide receiver on the first pick. Mordecai’s second interception came, because he didn’t see a defender. Tanner did throw one touchdown in the first half to Chimere Dike. The big playmakers were the running dou of Braelon Allen and Chez Mellusi. Chez had a 89 yard touchdown run. They both finished with multiple TD scores. Fans and analysts were talking about how much Phil Longo was going to make Wisconsin an air raid school. We all found out that it’s going to be a more balanced offense.

Wisconsin’s defense was the least pretty part of the game. The badgers missed a lot of tackles and a couple opportunities to take the ball away. The defensive line was good at stopping the 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1. They did not get to the quarterback a lot and gave up some big runs. Wisconsin did hold them to seven points in the second half.

Overall, the Badgers played well and got the win. Wisconsin fans are pleased with what they saw from Fickell and his staff. Their next game is against Washington State, who beat us in Camp Randall last year.
